Teddy's Heart is again participating in #GivingTuesday — and we have set a mighty goal of raising $5000 during this year’s #GivingTuesday to help ensure that we start 2020 with a solid foundation of funds to help all companion animals to have a fighting chance at life and to support their human families who are fighting right along with them.
#GivingTuesday, started in 2012, as global generosity movement of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world, whose mission is to build a more just and generous world. Annually, December 3rd is a day that is used as a catalyst to get individuals and groups out into their community, into the world on this special day, but also every other day of the year. It is also a day that non-profits, like Teddy’s Heart, use to fundraise and spread awareness about their organization or cause.
Our namesake, Teddy, had every chance to fight for his life — every single time — because we as family had the resources. Had we not, there were many times throughout his little life that we would have had to make hard, heart-wrenching, and frankly, unfair choices. Choices that no one or no family should ever have to face.
Teddy's Heart is built on the foundation of Teddy’s fighting spirit and the vision that just like him — all companion animals should have their own fighting chance at life.
We are a very small non-profit with very big dreams. To date, nearly 100% of our donated funds since our inception in 2017, have gone directly to our Teddy's Heart Donor Partners, who are our allies in executing our mission to fulfill our vision of helping beloved companion animals and their families in life and in death.
But we have a long way to go, big mountains to climb, even bigger goals to reach and a very large and long to-do list to tackle in order for us to help even more animals and their families. Thus our mighty #givingtuesday goal of raising $5000. Please know that no donation is too small and every single penny counts. Thank you friends in advance.
